Grief support

Making room for loss without having to carry it completely alone

Grief may come through death, separation, life change or the loss of an imagined future. There is no single correct way to go through it.

How it often feels

Each grief process has its own shape, but some experiences repeat

It does not always show up only as sadness; sometimes it comes as paralysis, anger, emptiness or disorientation.

There is pain, but also confusion

It may be hard to absorb what has happened, organise what you are living through or find a way forward without feeling you are betraying something important.

You feel stuck or emotionally strange

Moments of intense emotion mix with apathy, numbness or the feeling of moving through life on automatic pilot.

Guilt, anger or unfinished questions appear

Not every grief process is clean or linear. Sometimes there are unresolved things, ambivalence or emotions that are hard to hold.

What can be worked on in therapy

  • Give space to pain without getting trapped inside it.
  • Work through guilt, paralysis or difficulty moving forward.
  • Integrate the loss in a more livable way.

When support may help

Asking for help does not mean you do not know how to live your pain. Sometimes it simply means you do not want to carry it completely alone or remain trapped in it for longer than necessary.

  • If something in the process feels deeply stuck.
  • If the loss is affecting your daily life too strongly.
  • If you need a space to make sense of what you are going through.
